"Manually managing QKD networks is complex as they scale. The QDC is more than a management tool. It ensures that the security inherent in quantum networks is coordinated efficiently across the entire system. Centralized control reduces operational risk while accelerating network scalability.”

QDC - The technology powering scalable quantum networks

“Launching the QDC is a moment of immense pride for our team. It empowers organizations to manage resilient, scalable and future-proof quantum networks powered by Q*Bird's MDI QKD Falqon® Series.”

About Q*Bird

Delft

Q*Bird launches the Quantum Domain Controller (QDC)

“Bringing our technology together with our partners directly into the hands of an end-user who develops quantum networks based on superconducting qubits linked with optical interconnects is a critical milestone for this field. This contract represents a great commitment from AFRL to pursue interconnected quantum systems, and it’s fantastic to work with the expert team at Rigetti to make this goal a reality.”

QphoX and Rigetti awarded $5.8M contract from AFRL to enable optical networks of superconducting qubits
