PHASE 3 PLAN
QDNL is now in Phase 3 (2025–2028), accelerating quantum technology from research to real-world applications. Building on a strong ecosystem of science, talent, and start-ups, this phase focuses on productisation, commercialisation, and manufacturing readiness, which are essential for our global competitiveness. In Phase 3, QDNL is prepared to build on these technical successes, accelerate research-industry collaboration, increase international visibility, and help shape a future where the Netherlands remains at the forefront of quantum advancements.
National Programme
QDNL's programme focuses on three main technical areas and four different lines of action, covering research, ecosystem development, human capital and societal impact. The matrixed programme enables cross-collaboration between technical domains and concrete actions that impact the economic, societal, and industrial future of quantum technologies.
International Collaborations
QDNL is committed to strengthening the Netherlands’ position in quantum technologies by building meaningful international partnerships. Our ambition is to ensure that Dutch quantum players secure unique positions in the future global quantum value chain.
